Here comes the second part of my recap of the bee workshop I attended last month.
After telling you all about wild flowers in my last blogpost it is now time to talk about nesting aids! I was actually surprised how easy it is to give a new home to insects and since it was also so much fun to get active and create something useful with my hands, I would love to encourage you guys to start a DIY project like this as well!

Nachdem ich euch in meinem ersten Blogpost über den “Umtopfen im Kopf” Workshop mit REWE und dem NABU alles zum Thema Wildblumen erzählt habe, folgt heute Teil zwei mit interessanten Fakten und Tipps zum Bau von Nisthilfen.

Dass es so leicht ist, Bienen ein Zuhause zu geben, hat mich total überrascht und da das Ganze auch noch mega viel Spaß gemacht, würde ich euch wirklich von Herzen empfehlen, auch mal so ein DIY-Projekt zu starten! Expertin Dr. Maren Meyer-Grünefeldt von der NABU Umweltpyramide hat uns dazu tolle Anleitungen gegeben, die ich im heutigen Beitrag mit euch teilen werde.

How incredibly important bee activism is became only really apparent to me when I was invited to be a part of the REWE campaign “Let’s give bees a home” and started educating myself properly on this subject. Therefore I am more than happy about this collaboration and for the opportunity to use my platform for such an important cause!!

Wie wichtig das Thema Bienenschutz wirklich ist, wurde mir erst bewusst, als ich mich im Rahmen der Kampagne “Gemeinsam geben wir Bienen ein Zuhause” eingehend damit beschäftigt habe. Aus diesem Grund freue ich mich sehr über diese Kooperation mit REWE und die Möglichkeit, meine Reichweite hier so sinnvoll nutzen zu können und euch auf dieses Thema aufmerksam zu machen.

Let’s talk about inner beauty

True beauty comes from within. That’s nothing new – yet we get swept away by all these expectations we place on ourselves to look a certain way and fit society’s beauty standards. We spend so much energy focusing on superficial things, failing to actually take care of our inner self. But only when we say YES to ourselves – in every possible aspect, when we cultivate that self love, only then we can shine from within.

My Favourite Workouts & How I Keep My Boobs Save (ad)

Studioworkout_02_028One of the most frequently asked questions I get is what my workout routine looks like. So first of all I want to say that everybody is different and I want to encourage you to find a routine and style of training that fits YOUR lifestyle and body. There is no point in trying to do the exact same thing as someone else is doing because at the end of the day you are not going to stay consistent and get real results if you don’t enjoy your workouts. Some people love lifting heavy weights at the gym while others enjoy long bike rides in nature – and for you it might be playing volleyball or dancing ballet (which I did for many years). You can stay active in so many different ways! Don’t be afraid to try out different things until you find something that you truly enjoy. I used to often let insecurities win when it came to trying new sports – so a little reminder to all of us: it’s not about being good at something right away – it’s about taking ourselves on a journey, discovering ourselves and what our beautiful bodies are capable of.
