Roses in my veins

Bittersweet pain drowning me in the waves of your presence, an ocean full of melodies combining my pulse and the sound of your smile. Losing my heart in the depths of your eyes in those moments of pure truth. Your touch planting roses in my veins, thorns carving your face into my soul. Your love shaking earth, leaving me with ruins and memories, broken wings since I’d fallen, not just once and all over. Hollow since I lost it, lost myself in your poems of poison and the endless darkness of cold winter nights.
